Planning and installation of electrical systems

Many building owners who want to renovate or build only think of the bare essentials when renovating. However, a forward-looking and careful planning of the electrical installations is particularly important during renovation. Often not only the building shell is in need of renovation, but also the electrical system. Lines become brittle due to the current load, heat up and the insulation suffers. Save money and increase the value of your property by planning the electrical installation during renovation.

Testing of electrical installations and equipment according to DGUV regulation 3

The testing of electrical installations and equipment is legally anchored in several laws and regulations. Among others, the Energy Industry Act (EnWG), the Accident Prevention Regulation DGUV 3 and the Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV) oblige the operators of electrical systems to regularly check
However, regular inspection of electrical installations is not only required by law, but in combination with preventive maintenance it also helps to save costs in the long term.
There are good reasons why the regular inspection of electrical installations is prescribed by law - the most important is safety.

Fire alarm systems according to DIN 14675
Planning, installation, commissioning, acceptance, maintenance and servicing

Fire alarm systems are installed particularly in buildings at risk, such as airports, train stations, universities, schools, company buildings, factories, retirement homes or hospitals. The obligation to install a fire alarm system connected to the fire brigade is regulated in building regulations within the framework of special building regulations. If necessary, the building supervision can request the installation of a fire alarm system with the building permit. By operating a fire alarm system, a reduction in the insurance premium for building insurance can often be achieved.

Hold-open systems according to DIN 14677
Planning, installation, maintenance, servicing

Fastener systems (FSA) are also called door fastening systems (TFA) and are used to keep fire barriers such as fire doors, roller shutters, smoke protection doors and smoke barriers between fire compartments open. In the event of fire or smoke development, a hold-open system ensures that the fire protection doors or smoke barriers are safely closed. DIN 14677 (Maintenance of electrically controlled hold-open systems for fire and smoke protection closures) regulates the maintenance, in particular the regular inspection and servicing, since 1 March 2011. The hold-open system must now be kept operational at all times by the operator and its proper functioning must be checked regularly in accordance with the approval notice of the individual system.

Smoke detector according to DIN 14676
Planning, installation, maintenance, servicing

In most federal states the installation of smoke detectors is already required by law, and private households should also purchase certified smoke detectors and fire alarms. If in doubt, these can save not only your own life, but also that of your flatmates and neighbours.

Building automation:
SmartHome, KNX systems

In a smart home system, different devices communicate with each other, so it is possible to link together both household appliances and multimedia devices and control them remotely, whether lighting, air conditioning, washing machine, blinds, radio or television. Their uniform operation via app or voice command increases quality of life, security and comfort. Not every smart home is the same: if you are thinking about "making the appliances in your house smart", you can design and network the home automation system according to your individual wishes.

We will be happy to advise you!
